Educational Objectives

  1. To provide comprehensive nursing education that meets national and international standards.
  2. To develop curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical clinical skills.
  3. To utilize the nursing process in providing comprehensive health services to individuals and groups in various healthcare settings.
  4. To promote academic standards as stipulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  5. To provide a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and practice of evidence-based nursing care.

Professional Development Objectives

  3. To organize and provide programs including open distance learning training, development, upgrading, and recertification of nurses.
  4. To carry out research on matters relevant to the development or advancement of nursing.
  5. To undertake any other activities appropriate for a college of nursing sciences of the highest international standard.
